TECHNISCH COMMERCIEEL PRODUCT MANAGER - Feed Additives

Brenntag is een toonaangevende distributeur van ingrediënten voor farma, food, feed en industriële markten. Brenntag heeft wereldwijd meer dan 400 locaties en ruim 11.000 medewerkers. De business unit Specialties binnen Brenntag Nederland B.V is gevestigd in Loosdrecht met ruim 30 medewerkers en vertegenwoordigt internationale producenten.

Voor de business unit Specialties zijn wij op zoek naar een
TECHNISCH COMMERCIEEL PRODUCT MANAGER - Feed Additives (m/v)(full time).

Standplaats:
Het betreft een buitendienst functie met als standplaats Loosdrecht.

De functie::
Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de introductie, ontwikkeling, technische ondersteuning en verkoop van additieven en grondstoffen voor de Feed markt in Nederland.

Belangrijkste taken:

  • Initiëren en onderhouden van contacten met klanten en leveranciers
  • Potentiële klanten benaderen en het verstrekken van technische/wetenschappelijke informatie
  • Introduceren van nieuwe producten en concepten voor de Feed markt
  • Bijdragen aan de verkoop en marketing van nieuwe en bestaande producten
  • Actieve bijdrage in commerciële acties gericht op klanten en prospects

Wat wij vragen:
De ideale kandidaat herkent zich in het volgende profiel:

  • HBO opleiding Diervoeding en/of Commercie
  • Ervaring in de Feed-branche
  • Commerciële instelling
  • Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en
  • Ondernemende, zelfstandige en pragmatische aanpak
  • Teamspeler
  • Accuraat, stressbestendig en een gestructureerde werkwijze

EUROPEAN MANAGER PROCESSING CHEMICALS

The European Business Unit Oil & Gas is based in Dordrecht (The Netherlands). The team consists of the Manager Production, the Manager Pipeline Cleaning & Services and the still to be appointed Manager Processing Chemicals. Together they are responsible for the marketing, sales and technical support of the Oil & Gas products and services. Throughout Europe over 20 Sales Representatives focus on the promotion and sales of the Oil & Gas products and services.

For the Processing Chemical products, which are used by refineries and chemical works, we are looking for a:
EUROPEAN MANAGER PROCESSING CHEMICALS (m/v)(full time).

Roles and responsibilities:

As European Manager Processing Chemicals you will be visiting prospects and customers in order to promote our product portfolio. You will report to the Business Manager Oil & Gas Europe.

It is essential that you can pro-actively translate your technical knowledge into customer needs. You will be actively involved in sales deals reached by the Sales Representatives throughout Europe. On the other hand you manage the relationship with our manufacturers. As European Manager Processing Chemicals you are the linking pin between the various manufacturers. You will advise key players in the oil and gas producing and processing industries.

As European Manager Processing Chemicals you will also provide technical support for the European Sales Representatives by coaching and training. You will travel internationally on a regular basis (mainly within Europe). The position of European Manager Processing Chemicals is perfect for someone who wants to commit his or her technical knowledge of Oil Refineries, Chemical Chemistry and Engineering to total service solutions for the oil and gas producing and processing industries and who wants to develop his or her commercial skills. This position offers you the possibility to develop a broad technical sales scope and to optimise your work/?life balance in an environment that allows for great independency.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate for the position of European Manager Processing Chemicals identifies him or herself in the following profile:

  • You have a minimum BSc level in preferably Chemical Engineering and/or Chemistry;
  • You have at least 5 years of working experience in the Oil & Gas industry;
  • Ideally you have a strong knowledge of the production processes at the refineries;
  • A technical plus commercial focus and approach;
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal);
  • Prepared to travel frequently (mainly within Europe).
